According to reports, the company is going to cut jobs in the coming few months and under this it will reduce its workforce by 10 percent. According to media reports, this number can go up to 17 thousand. The company is currently also facing a strike by employees which has been going on for the last 3 weeks, which has had a bad effect on the work. The effect of this strike has also been seen on the production of the company's best-selling aircraft. The employee union has been on strike since September 14. There has been no solution to the talks between the company and the union. The situation is that last month Boeing has filed an application against the union before the National Labor Related Board and complained that the union is adopting an obstinate attitude ignoring the interests. In view of the situation, the company has announced that its Triple 7X plane will no longer be introduced in 2025 as per the earlier scheduled plan and there will be a delay in it. The plane will now be introduced a year later in 2026. Along with this, the company said that it will stop manufacturing 767 jet cargo planes from 2027 after the completion of the current order. The company has been struggling with cash problems for a long time, the company has suffered a loss of more than $ 25 billion since 2019. The company is working on a strategy to control costs to overcome this loss. Layoffs are also a part of this step.
