A shocking incident has come to light in the West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. The body of a 45-year-old unknown person was sent to a family here in a box. Not only this, along with sending the body, more than one crore rupees have been demanded from the family. Along with the box, the accused have also sent a letter, in which it is claimed that this is the amount including interest of the loan taken years ago. Apart from this, there is a threat in the letter that if any misfortune is to be avoided, then pay this amount. This box containing the body was delivered to the family's under-construction house on Thursday night.

Letter found in the box with the dead body

District Superintendent of Police Adnan Naeem Asmi gave details of the case. He said that a letter was given to the family along with the box. In the letter, a demand of Rs 1.3 crore has been made from them. The family to whom this letter and box have been sent has four members. The SP said, "Last night the body was delivered to their under-construction house." He said that the police is investigating to get information about the case. According to police sources, this box was delivered in an autorickshaw to the under-construction house of Sagi Tulsi in Yendagandi village of Undi Mandal. Coincidentally, Tulsi's husband had gone missing about 10 years ago, due to which she was living with her parents.

An unknown person helped in building a house

SP Asmi said that Tulsi used to live with her parents earlier, but later she started living in a rented house. After a few days, Tulsi started building a new house about a kilometer away from her parents' house. She was helped in this construction by a person who sent her high quality tiles and paint in the month of September. According to the police, this unknown person who helped Tulsi told Tulsi that they both belong to the same caste and she is a 'widow', so he is helping her.

Mention of borrowing in 2008 in the letter

Police said that on Thursday Tulsi received a message that some electrical items like motor etc. were being sent to her. After this, a box was found which contained a dead body. On finding the body, Tulsi's family informed the police. A letter was also found with the body, in which it was claimed that Tulsi's husband had taken a loan of Rs 3 lakh in 2008, which has now increased to Rs 1.35 crore.

An unknown person demanded money

Citing the letter found with the box, the police said, "If you don't want anything bad to happen, you should pay the money." The Superintendent of Police said, "We are investigating all the people who have gone missing in the last three-four days. We will get more information after the post-mortem of the bodies." Meanwhile, SP Asmi said that the younger son-in-law of the family has been missing since yesterday.
