News Topical, Digital Desk : Last night at around 12 o'clock in the morning, a drunk driver created a lot of panic in many areas of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. A maroon MG Hector car went out of control and crashed into the wall of Scindia Park after passing through Bhanwartal Garden, Russell Chowk and Income Tax Office. During this, the car spread panic by crushing many vehicles in its path. The driver, in an inebriated state, drove the car here and there. Several people are reported to be injured in this incident. Along with the common citizens, the car driver did not spare even the police.

According to the police, the out-of-control car first struck Aditya Kaurav, an on-duty policeman. It then struck two or three other cars and several motorcycles. People present at the scene reported that the car dragged one motorcycle for a considerable distance, terrifying those present.

Three seriously injured, hospitalized

Three people, including police officer Aditya Kaurav and a 14-year-old boy, were seriously injured in the accident. The injured were immediately admitted to Victoria Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. Following the accident, people on the scene apprehended the car driver, identified as Anurag Soni. According to police, the driver was in an inebriated state and sustained injuries in the accident, and has been sent for treatment.

 Case registered against the accused, legal action initiated

Police have registered a criminal case against the accused under various sections of the IPC. The damage to the vehicles is being assessed and further legal action has been initiated. Police have stated that appropriate action will be taken to send a clear message to criminals.
