News Topical, Digital Desk : It takes time to understand the working methods of the film industry. That's why, until he starred in "Munnabhai MBBS," actor Arshad Warsi used to charge whatever the producer offered.

But after ' Munnabhai MBBS ', Arshad Warsi had increased his fees and behind this was Vipul Shah, producer of 'The Kerala Story'.

Arshad did not demand fees

Arshad Warsi explained why he increased his fees. " Before 'Munna Bhai MBBS,' I was paid very little. I would get five lakh rupees for some films, twenty-five lakh rupees for others , and I would feel like my life was complete," he says.

Arshad had increased his fees at the request of the producer.

Arshad Warsi further said, "When 'Munna Bhai MBBS' became a hit, one day suddenly I got a call from Vipul Shah saying that you are such a wonderful actor, if you charge less than Rs 1 crore now, I will come after you. Then I told my manager that we will charge Rs 1 crore. If he had not called, I would have charged less."

Arshad was hesitant to do the film

Arshad Warsi thought his acting career would be closed after doing "Munnabhai MBBS." He said, "Many people had previously rejected the role of Circuit in "Munnabhai MBBS." Perhaps I would have done it too. I thought I would have to close my acting career after this film , because it was a role that involved standing behind the hero."
