News Topical, Digital Desk : Priyanka Chopra is a global icon today, but she once ruled only Bollywood. In the 2000s, she starred in several superhit films. But at one point, she suddenly left Bollywood and set out for Hollywood.

After making her Hollywood debut with Quantico, she appeared in several Bollywood films, but has been away from Hindi cinema for the past seven years. She is now making her Telugu debut with SS Rajamouli's film Varanasi .

Priyanka Chopra was not going to leave Bollywood

Priyanka Chopra recently revealed that she never wanted to leave Bollywood. In an interview with Firstpost, she said, “ I don't think I ever wanted to leave Bollywood. When I was working in Hindi films, I felt limited for many reasons. I wanted to move forward. ”

Priyanka Chopra further said, "As an artiste, I was forced to look for opportunities that were exciting to me. I started working in America and now I feel that after almost 12 years, I am really getting the momentum to choose amazing work and that is not easy."

Priyanka loves Indian films

Priyanka Chopra also said, “ I love my Indian films. I am so happy to be back in India again and I would hate to choose between the two. I never have to choose. I feel like I belong in both worlds and I enjoy working in both industries.”

The actress said that while the cultures of the two film industries are different, she knows how to adapt to them. Her upcoming film, Varanasi, will be released in theaters on April 7th next year. Priyanka will star alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the film.
