Information about receiving the threat was given to Civil Lines Police Station of Dodpur, Aligarh. The police station has been given this information by the office of the Proctor of the University. While giving the information, it was said, 'You are to be informed that on January 9, at around 1.18 am, an anonymous email was received on the email of the Proctor from tiwarisrijanyt@protonmail.com and it has also been sent to the heads of other senior departments of AU and its UPI number is 6387866385 (copy attached)'
