New Delhi: An emergency alert message was given to the passengers in the Air India flight going from Mumbai to London. This message was circulated as the reason for not landing. However, the reason why landing is not happening is not known yet. Air India flight AI129 7700 is circling in the British capital London.

Flight tracker Flightradar24 reported on Thursday that an Air India flight from Mumbai to London sent an emergency signal over the British capital. However, the reason for sending the emergency signal is not known.

Bomb threats on international flights

For the past few days, there has been no end to the threats to blow up planes. On Thursday, two international flights to Mumbai received bomb threats. On Thursday, two international flights of Vistara and Indigo were threatened with bombing.

Security will be increased in airplanes

Earlier on Wednesday, for the third consecutive day, threats were made to blow up nine planes. After these threats, the government has become alert and has decided to double the number of air marshals in planes flying from airports across the country.

Bomb threat to Boeing 787 aircraft

It is worth noting that about a dozen flights operated by Indian airlines had received similar threats on Monday and Tuesday. According to the airline, on Thursday, a Vistara flight to Mumbai with 147 people on board was immediately diverted for security checks upon arrival from Frankfurt as the Boeing 787 aircraft received a bomb threat.

At the same time, an IndiGo flight flying from Istanbul in Turkey to Mumbai also received a bomb threat and was taken to an isolation bay here for extensive security checks by security agencies. Vistara flight UK 028, flying from Frankfurt to Mumbai on October 16, 2024, received a security threat on social media, the airline said.

There were 134 passengers and 13 crew members on board the aircraft, a source said. The plane, which took off from Frankfurt for Mumbai at 8.20 pm (local time) on Wednesday, made an emergency landing here at around 7.45 am on Thursday.
