In Bengaluru, Karnataka, a 19-year-old youth committed suicide by falling under the metro. CCTV footage of this incident has surfaced. After getting information about the incident, police officers reached the spot and took stock. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. The police are busy investigating why the young man took such a step.
According to the information, this incident took place at Attiguppe station in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Here a person had reached the metro station (Bengaluru Metro Station). He stood there for a long time. As soon as the metro arrived, the person reached the track and lay down on the track.
After this, he died after being hit by the metro. According to Metro officials, the person died on the spot. Information about this matter was given to the police, after which the police reached the spot and took stock.
Security guard suspended pending investigation
The police have taken possession of the body and started investigating the case. Officials say that the deceased is a 19-year-old youth. After this incident, Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has informed by tweeting that currently trains are running only between Magadi Road to Whitefield. There is no service between Magadi Road to Chailaghatta. After this incident, the security guard has been suspended till a detailed investigation is conducted.
