Taipei. The war between Taiwan and China is not coming to an end. Now once again Taiwan has detected 12 Chinese military aircraft and eight naval ships around its border. Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense has given this information. The Defense Ministry has shared a statement on X regarding this matter.
Seven of the 12 Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft entered Taiwan's ADIZ Air Defense Identification Zone, the Defense Ministry wrote. Taiwan then sent aircraft and naval ships to monitor PLA activity.
152 aircraft were detected in June
Let us tell you that since June, Taiwan has detected Chinese military aircraft 152 times and naval or coast guard ships 125 times. At the same time, since September 2020, China has intensified the use of gray zone tactics by increasing the number of military aircraft and naval ships operating near Taiwan's territory.
In a statement, Taiwan's MOFA said that the unilateral implementation of the Chinese law violates regional peace and stability. It said that the new law will not only create regional tensions but will also affect the safety of commercial shipping and fishing activities.
Taiwan's Defense Minister condemned China
Taiwan's MOFA said it would closely monitor developments and condemned China's behavior in violation of relevant international laws and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS). China is said to be increasing its military threats against other countries in the region under the guise of maintaining maritime order.
