News Topical, Digital Desk : Ahmedabad Air India Plane Crash: At least 10 people from Rajasthan were also on board the plane that crashed in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on Thursday. Officials gave this information. Officials said that these include four people from Udaipur and five from Banswara.

An Air India plane bound for London crashed into a residential area on Thursday, shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad airport in Gujarat. There were 242 passengers including crew members on board the plane and a total of 265 people have been confirmed dead in the accident so far.

According to the information received, the passengers from Rajasthan on this plane included Udaipur marble businessman Sanjeev Modi's son Shubh and daughter Shagun. Officials said that both the MBA graduates were associated with their father's business and were going to London for a trip. District Collector Namit Mehta visited their residence in Saheli Nagar to meet the family and gather information.

CM Bhajanlal Sharma assured all help

Mehta told reporters, "Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has spoken to the families of the victims and assured them of all possible help." Vardichand Menaria, a resident of Rundeda in Vallabhnagar area of ​​Udaipur district, was also on board the crashed plane. He had recently returned from London and was returning with his colleague Prakash Menaria. Both worked in the culinary sector in Britain.

Many people from Barmer are also victims of the accident

Officials said that Khushboo Rajpurohit, a young woman from Araba (Balotra) of Barmer district, was also among the passengers on board the plane. Dr. Kaumi Vyas, Dr. Pratik Joshi, Miraya Joshi and Pradyut Joshi, Nakul Joshi of Banswara were also in the plane that met with the accident. Pradyut and Nakul were twin brothers among them. Kaumi Vyas was working in a private hospital and was going to London to stay with her husband. After the plane crash in Ahmedabad, Rajasthan BJP has postponed all its programs and meetings.

BJP canceled all programs for three days

The ministers in charge were to visit all the districts for three days from today and hold press conferences on the completion of 11 years of Modi government at the center. Now after the plane crash, all these programs have been postponed. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has also postponed the program to be held in Banswara on Friday under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural).

Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde, Chief Minister Sharma, Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, former Chief Ministers Ashok Gehlot and Vasundhara Raje, Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie and many other leaders have expressed deep grief over the Ahmedabad plane crash.
