A sub-inspector died in the clash
According to the report of Dawn newspaper, the protesters have blocked the road in the area. One policeman has died in the clash between the protesters. Mirpur Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kamran Ali informed that Sub-Inspector Adnan Qureshi died after being shot in the chest in Islamgarh city.

Many JAAC workers were arrested
Earlier on Wednesday-Thursday night, police arrested 70 JAAC activists during raids on their residences and those of their relatives in Muzaffarabad and Mirpur divisions. This led to serious clashes on Thursday in Dadiyal, where protests keep taking place over demands for basic amenities. The committee had called for a shutter-down and wheel-jam strike on Friday, a day ahead of its planned long march towards Muzaffarabad.

Amid ongoing protests against the Pakistan government, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday reiterated India's stand on the merger of illegally occupied territory and said that one day we will end illegal occupation of PoK and PoK will join India.
