Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif on Saturday said that an all-encompassing dialogue platform should be created that includes all major political parties, including Imran Khan's Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He said state institutions must also be involved in the talks to bring Pakistan out of the crisis.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also tried to woo their former ally, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. Top PML-N officials held a meeting at its Model Town headquarters on Saturday.

Planning minister laid down a condition for talking to PTI

At the same time, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has put a condition regarding talks with Imran's party PTI. He said that for any kind of talks with PTI, former Prime Minister Imran Khan will have to apologize for the alleged violence of May 9 last year.
