New Delhi: A report has shown the horrific picture of the political instability in Bangladesh and the targeted attacks on minorities, especially Hindus, that have been going on there for the past one month. Along with this, the international community has been requested to seriously intervene in this matter and the Indian government has been requested to take steps at every level and allow the persecuted minority Hindus from the neighboring country to come to the country in a dignified manner.
Jains, Sikhs and Christians are also in the grip of violence
It has been warned that if the situation is not rectified in time, the Hindu population in Bangladesh, which has declined from 22 percent to 8 percent due to the ongoing genocide between 1951 and 2022, will almost become extinct. Other minority communities including Jains, Sikhs and Christians are also at the receiving end of persecution and targeted violence.
The report was submitted to the Home Ministry
CDPHR President Dr. Prerna Malhotra said that many cases of violence have not come to light. She said that this report will be submitted to the Home Ministry. On this occasion, former MP and columnist Swapan Dasgupta, journalist and writer Deep Halder and Abhijit Majumdar shed light on the well-planned conspiracy that is still going on to eliminate Hindus and minorities along with the partition of India and Pakistan and the formation of Bangladesh.
India is the only safe place for Hindus
In this, the role of Western media, US and unauthorised powers other than Pakistani government in increasing Islamisation of Bangladesh has been highlighted prominently. Swapan Dasgupta requested the Indian government to allow the Hindus of the neighbouring country to come here in a dignified manner, because India is the only safe place for Hindus living all over the world.
