News Topical, Digital Desk : In the case of kidnapping of retired Air Force personnel Ashok Jaiswal in Gorakhpur, the police took prompt action and recovered him safely within 12 hours. Shahpur police have arrested three kidnappers, Karunesh Dubey, Shyamsundar and Janardan Gaur. The vehicle used in the kidnapping has also been seized.
Let us tell you that on Friday at 5:30 am, Ashok Jaiswal, a resident of Padri Bazar, left home for swimming. At 10:30 am, his wife received a call in which the kidnappers informed about Ashok's kidnapping and demanded a ransom of Rs 1 crore. It is being told that Ashok was having a dispute with someone regarding money transaction, due to which this kidnapping took place.
Police formed 6 teams
Shahpur police immediately swung into action after getting the information. Police formed 6 special teams to recover Ashok. With the help of surveillance and CCTV footage, police traced the kidnappers. Within 12 hours, Ashok Jaiswal was recovered safely and handed over to his family. Karunesh Dubey, Shyamsundar, and Janardan Gaur involved in the kidnapping were arrested. Police is interrogating them so that the entire conspiracy behind the kidnapping can be revealed.
CCTVAnd surveillance plays an important role
Police said that CCTV footage and surveillance technology played an important role in reaching the kidnappers. Police put the number from which Ashok's wife received the ransom call on surveillance and when the call came again to tell the location, the wife kept them engaged in conversation, after which all three were arrested while giving the money.
Ashok handed over safely to his family
The vehicle used in this incident has also been seized. The police is conducting a thorough investigation in this case to find out other people involved. The police handed over Ashok safely to his family late in the evening, due to which the family became very emotional. Ashok's return in just 12 hours brought tears of joy to the family and they thanked the police.
