'Jungle Raj in Delhi, 6 murders in 24 hours', AAP questions Centre and LG's silence, attacks BJP

News Topical, Digital Desk : The Aam Aadmi Party has attacked the BJP and the central government over the rising crime and incidents in Delhi. The AAP stated that innocent people are losing their lives due to the relentless negligence of the BJP's four-engine government in Delhi, while the entire government machinery remains silent. The party expressed deep concern over the rising number of murders and deaths due to falling into drains and potholes in the national capital, launching a scathing attack on the BJP government.

On Wednesday, AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal, blaming the BJP government's negligence, said, "The BJP has destroyed Delhi in just one year. They don't even care about the lives of the people. How many more lives will it take for this careless government to come to its senses?"

People are dying after falling into drains and pits – AAP

Meanwhile, on the increasing number of murders and accidents in Delhi, AAP's Delhi State President Saurabh Bhardwaj said that Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena is a self-proclaimed expert on Delhi's rivers and drains, and his department is the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). Not only this, but in Delhi, who knows where, Delhi government and DDA drains are open, and people are falling into them and dying.

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that there was a time when the Lieutenant Governor called himself the local guardian. Wearing a cap and glasses, and accompanied by a whole army of officers, he would point out the shortcomings of the then AAP government. Now, he has been missing for a year and is not even writing to the government, because the BJP's four-engine government has been exposed for all to see.

You are the first to blame others.

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that two years ago, when a young man fell into a DDA drain in East Delhi, they were immediately told that it wasn't theirs, it belonged to the MCD. They were always the first to blame others. But today, the MCD, DDA, Delhi government, Lieutenant Governor, and central government in Delhi are all under the BJP's control.

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that if there's a pothole somewhere, it's the BJP's responsibility, if there's an open drain somewhere, it's the BJP's responsibility, and if a building collapses somewhere, it's the BJP's responsibility. If a 14-year-old child is murdered on his way out of school, it's the BJP's responsibility.

Six murders took place in Delhi within 24 hours: AAP

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that six murders are taking place in Delhi every 24 hours. Children in the 10th and 9th grades are being murdered. They are being stabbed in the head. Despite this, there is no statement from either the Lieutenant Governor, the Union Home Minister, or the Chief Minister.

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that everyone is silent and it feels as if all this is happening in a different Delhi. These people are roaming around in a different Delhi, where bhajans are being sung, ribbons are being cut, there is dancing and singing, and chole-bhature are being eaten. The Chief Minister's Delhi is a different place.

Saurabh Bhardwaj said on X that there are two Delhis in Delhi. One belongs to the people and the other belongs to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. In one Delhi, six people are being murdered every 24 hours, and the lights of homes are being extinguished by falling into drains and ditches. In the other Delhi, the Chief Minister is dancing and singing, cutting ribbons, and eating chole bhature. Would a mother do this if something like this happened to her son?
