On this occasion, he said that the brave soldiers of India sacrificed their lives to maintain the unity and integrity of India.

While addressing the program, Chief Minister Yogi said that during the Kargil war our soldiers did not flee, and that is why we got victory. On this day India surprised the world by defeating Pakistan. CM Yogi said that the recent Operation Sindoor is a new symbol of India's military capabilities and it further raises the echo of the Kargil war.

This day is a symbol of the valor of the Indian Army

Yogi Adityanath said that today is the day to remember the great brave sons of India. We salute those brave sons of India. This day is also a symbol of the bravery of the Indian Army. He said that the Kargil war was imposed on India by Pakistan, to which our brave soldiers gave a befitting reply.

He said that Kargil was a challenging place where the temperature was minus 50 degrees. Even in this extremely challenging situation, our soldiers showed indomitable courage and defeated the cowards of Pakistan. At that time, former President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf went to America and tried to put pressure on India. But the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee said that whether it is America or any power in the world, India will not bow down to anyone, and finally Pakistan had to surrender and the intruders had to run away.

Kargil victory is an immortal story

CM Yogi said that Kargil Vijay Diwas is the immortal saga of the indomitable courage, amazing valor and unwavering resolve of the brave soldiers in the defense of Mother India. This sacrifice is an example of protecting the unity, integrity and self-respect of the country. The soldiers who unite and protect the country are the true national heroes.

The government gives Rs 50 lakh assistance to the martyr's family

CM Yogi said that if a soldier sacrifices his life while protecting the country's borders and maintaining internal security, then our government provides an additional assistance of Rs 50 lakh to the family of that soldier. One member of the family is also given a job in the state government. The unity and integrity of the nation always demands sacrifice.

He further said that if today we are able to sleep peacefully, move ahead on the path of prosperity, take advantage of new dimensions of development and benefit from modern facilities, then the reason for this is that the brave soldiers of India are protecting the borders.
