She has written a long post on Instagram story to tell that she has quit Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She wrote, “For one and a half years, I put my heart and soul into trying to give the most honest performance. It was the best learning phase. I have grown as an artist and a human being. I will always be grateful for this magical journey.”

Garvita announced on social media

Garvita Sadhwani further wrote, “For me, Roohi was an emotion, as human and as grey as can be, but at the core, she was a vivacious kid. I had my ups and downs with the character, but I always saw her as a dark tunnel but also as the light at the end of the tunnel. Poetic, isn't it?”

Garvita said, "I wish nothing but the best for my Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai family. Top the charts, win hearts. Always excited for you. Let's meet soon." She also thanked Star Plus and Rajan Shahi and said that for the last two months everyone has been asking her about her return, but she will not return. The reason why Garvita has left the show has not been revealed.
