News Topical, Digital Desk : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Motihari in Bihar on July 18. It is an election year, so during his visit, PM Modi will give many big gifts to Bihar. On Wednesday (July 16, 2025), Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate, lay the foundation stone and launch development projects worth Rs 7217 crore on July 18. He will be the first Prime Minister of the country to make an unprecedented contribution to the development of the state by visiting Bihar for the 53rd time.

Samrat Chaudhary said that Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar have taken Bihar to new heights of development. Bihar resides in PM Modi's heart and the people of the state are grateful for his love. The Prime Minister's visits have constantly given energy to the rapid infrastructural development of a backward state like Bihar.

The party has said that during his Motihari visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate several important projects related to the all-round development of the state. These projects include expansion of railways, national highways and roads, rural development, empowerment of animal husbandry and dairy sector, development of digital infrastructure through information technology and schemes benefiting poor and rural families through self-help groups and housing schemes. Of these, projects worth Rs 5,398 crore are related to railways, while projects worth Rs 1,173 crore are related to road and transport. 

The Prime Minister will also announce electronics and information technology projects worth Rs 63 crore. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of four-lane Ara bypass from Asni to Bampali on NH-319, costing Rs 138 crore. He will inaugurate the four-lane road from Parriya to Mohania in Kaimur district constructed at a cost of Rs 828 crore, as well as the two-lane road from Sarwan to Chakai under NH-333C at a cost of Rs 110 crore.

During his visit, the Prime Minister will transfer an amount of Rs 162 crore to the accounts of 40,000 beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) and keys of houses will be handed over to 12,000 beneficiaries. Along with this, he will also release assistance of Rs 400 crore to 61,500 self-help groups. All preparations have been done for the Prime Minister's program and the entire Bihar family is eagerly waiting for him.
