News Topical, Digital Desk : Opposition's Vice Presidential candidate B Sudarshan Reddy was in Bihar's capital Patna on Thursday (September 04, 2025). RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has announced his party's support to him. On the other hand, B Sudarshan Reddy also met RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav.

Lalu Prasad Yadav has shared the pictures of the meeting from his ex handle. A total of four pictures have been posted separately. In one picture Lalu Prasad Yadav and B Sudarshan Reddy are seen greeting each other. Sharing the picture, Lalu Yadav has written, "Joint Vice President candidate Justice B Sudarshan Reddy met at Patna residence and enquired about well-being." It is believed that during the meeting between the two leaders, not only the Vice President election but also the assembly elections in Bihar must have been discussed.

What did Tejashwi Yadav say?

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said, "B Sudarshan Reddy is not associated with any political party. He will get the support of all our MPs. I have full faith in him that he will protect the Constitution and democracy and run the House (Rajya Sabha) in a better way. The demand of the present time is that such a person should be appointed as the Vice President who can protect the Constitution and work with everyone."

Tejashwi Yadav said, "It is surprising that why is this election (Vice President election) being held? Suddenly through a tweet we came to know about Dhankhar ji's ill health. The truth is known to only three people, 2 from Gujarat and one Dhankhar sahab. The country wants to know where is Dhankhar sahab? Has he been put under house arrest?..."

Actually, after B Sudarshan Reddy came to Patna, a press conference was organized. Tejashwi Yadav gave the above statement there. On this occasion, VIP chief Mukesh Sahni clearly said that four MLAs of his party have already been bought by the BJP. He said that our best wishes are with B Sudarshan Reddy.
