Lucknow. Passwords for the e-form required for permits of vehicles transporting minerals in Uttar Pradesh will now be issued from the districts. A government order has been issued by the Geology and Mining Department in this regard.
Under the new system, work related to mining lease and mining transport permission of sub-minerals will be done through the web page available on the login of the District Mining Officer on the departmental portal (upmines.upsdc.gov.in) with the approval of the concerned District Magistrate. This system will be effective from August 1.

To prepare the database, the transport holders will have to self-certify their Aadhaar number, mobile number, email ID, GST number, PAN number etc. details on the prescribed format and submit it to the District Magistrate's office, on the basis of which the details will be prepared on the prescribed format by the Senior Mining Officer, Mining Officer, Mining Inspector of the district.
There will also be an E-MM-11 cell for monitoring the portal at the mining directorate level. The cell will test the data and other information and also resolve technical problems.
