News Topical, Digital Desk : A car from Akshay Kumar's convoy was involved in an accident in Mumbai's Juhu area on the night of January 19th. A speeding Mercedes car rear-ended an auto-rickshaw, causing the driver to lose control and crash into Akshay Kumar's security car.
The auto-rickshaw driver was injured in the accident and was immediately admitted to a nearby hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. When the auto-rickshaw driver was injured, Akshay Kumar personally got out of his vehicle and helped him get to the hospital. Akshay's responsibility didn't stop at getting the driver to the hospital; his team is in constant contact with the family regarding the auto-rickshaw driver's treatment. Furthermore, Mumbai Police have arrested the person responsible for the accident.
Akshay Kumar's team is providing full support
The auto-rickshaw driver involved in the accident has been identified as 22-year-old Washid Khan. In an exclusive interview with Mid, Washid's brother revealed that his brother suffered a fractured jawline due to the accident and is currently undergoing surgery. He explained the incident, saying, "My brother left his auto-rickshaw in the morning to drop off a passenger in the Juhu area. He was driving when a large vehicle hit him from behind, completely destroying the auto-rickshaw."
Washid's brother continued, "Local residents rushed my brother to the hospital. Doctors have said surgery is necessary. He lives with his parents." During this conversation, Ziaav Mustafa also clarified that Akshay Kumar's team is constantly getting updates from the family regarding his medical expenses and his brother's health.
The driver of the car was arrested by the police
According to news agency ANI, police have arrested the Mercedes driver who caused the accident. Police have filed a case against him for negligent and irresponsible driving. The accused has been identified as Radheshyam Rai.
