Lucknow. BSP supremo Mayawati on Thursday raised questions on the irregularities that came to light in NEET-UG. She posted on x that many flaws are being exposed in NEET-UG being organized at the all India level. In such a situation, the responsibility of organizing it should be given back to the state governments.
Mayawati also wrote in her post that many states are demanding this because the Centre has failed to assure the country about conducting such an important medical exam properly, which is making the problem more serious. Therefore, the system of centralized NEET-UG and PG should be abolished and the old system should be restored.
He said that the issue of irregularities in the NEET exam naturally heated up from the streets to the Parliament and the Supreme Court. Whatever the result, the pain and mental agony of lakhs of students and parents will always haunt them. In such a situation, the centralized system of the exam should be abolished.
