Moradabad: A double-decker bus running at high speed dodging the passenger tax officer (PTO) of the transport department collided with a tractor-trolley at around 11:30 pm on Wednesday night. One passenger died while eight people were injured.
When the PTO chased him, the driver increased the speed of the bus. The bus lost its balance on the Ramganga bridge. While overtaking a tractor-trolley loaded with bricks, it collided with it.
A young man died under the wheels of a bus
After the accident, there was a traffic jam on the bypass. The collision was so severe that Mudassir, who was sitting in the front of the bus, broke the glass and fell forward and died under the wheels of the bus. After this, the PTO also left his vehicle and ran away. The police reached the spot and cleared the traffic by removing the vehicles.
