There was a hot kissing scene in the Tamil film Kaaki Sattai, so Sridevi also shot this scene with Mithun without any hesitation. But what happened was that by the time the film was completed, both of them broke up. After this, Sridevi asked the director to remove that kissing scene. Allegedly, she also sent a legal notice to Umesh.

Sridevi gave the excuse of body double

After this kissing scene in the film became quite popular, Sridevi claimed that this scene was shot with a body double. Along with the film, its songs also became a big hit.

Mithun and Sridevi have worked together in films like Guru, Jaag Utha Insaan, Waqt Ki Awaaz and Watan Ke Rakhwale. Mithun Chakraborty and Sridevi reportedly had a secret marriage in the 1980s but it broke down when Mithun decided not to leave his wife Yogita Bali for Sridevi. Sridevi was heartbroken and decided to break the marriage. Despite the rumours, Mithun married Yogita and later Sridevi married Boney Kapoor.
