News Topical, Digital Desk : Due to continuous heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh, on one hand the rivers are in spate and on the other hand the enthusiasm of the sisters to tie Rakhi on the wrists of their brothers does not seem to be decreasing. Sisters are desperate to reach their brothers by crossing the swollen river amidst heavy floods.

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the Uttar Pradesh government has given the gift of free travel in buses for three days. On the other hand, flood and rain water have become a big problem for the people living in the flood-affected areas. Despite this, the girls are risking their lives and reaching their brothers with Raksha Bandhan by boat.

The river has to be crossed by boat

In the Nanpara area of Bahraich in UP, where there is no bridge and no road since independence, sisters have to take the help of boats. Sisters are reaching by boat to tie Rakhi on the wrist of their brothers, but these sisters demand that if a bridge is built on this river, then perhaps the lives of more than a dozen villages and villagers will improve.

Let us tell you that there are more than a dozen villages from Nanpara including Baldupurva, Dalla Purva, Duiji Purva, Aranwa, Girda, where people are living their lives with the help of boats since independence, whether it is a sick patient or a school going student, everyone has to take the help of boats.

Such situations happen during rain

During the rainy season, they spend about 4 months with the help of river and boat. The people here clearly say that this was complained to the public representatives many times but till date the bridge could not be constructed. But the villagers hope that the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh will definitely listen to their problems and solve them.
