News Topical, Digital Desk : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued a stern warning against any disruption of law and order and communal harmony in the state. He categorically stated that public indiscipline and any attempt to disrupt the atmosphere during festivals will not be tolerated. Strict action should be taken with zero tolerance against those responsible for such incidents. He directed officials to ensure peace, security, and discipline at all costs. Negligence at any level will not be tolerated. Furthermore, religious ceremonies should adhere to the traditional format and no new traditions should be permitted.

Ensure peaceful environment: CM

In a high-level review meeting held via video conferencing late Wednesday (March 18) evening, the Chief Minister reviewed the extensive preparations for Chaitra Navratri, which begins on Thursday (March 18), the Alvida Namaz on March 20, and Eid al-Fitr on March 21. He directed all divisional commissioners, district magistrates, and police captains to ensure a peaceful environment by working with sensitivity and coordination.

Extra caution should be taken in crowded places- CM

The Chief Minister said that in view of the large number of devotees expected to visit the Devi temples during Chaitra Navratri, proper arrangements for security, sanitation, crowd management, drinking water, lighting, and health services should be ensured. Extra vigilance should be maintained at major temples and crowded areas. Taking cognizance of recent criminal incidents in Badaun, Moradabad, Rampur, Ghaziabad , Jalaun, Gorakhpur, Agra, Jaunpur, Pratapgarh, and Prayagraj, the Chief Minister sought details of action taken from the concerned officials.

Take every complaint and every incident seriously – CM

He stated unequivocally that even a single incident of crime disturbs the atmosphere of society, and therefore, every complaint and incident should be taken seriously. The strictest possible action should be taken against those responsible. Referring to incidents of chain snatching, he directed increased patrolling by PRV-112 vehicles. The Chief Minister stated unequivocally that criminals should fear the police uniform. 

CM Yogi expressed displeasure over bike stunts

Citing Supreme Court directives, the CM said that loudspeaker volume at religious places should be kept within prescribed standards, failing which strict action would be taken to remove them. Expressing displeasure over bike stunts, he ordered an immediate halt to them.

Instructions were also given on LPG supply

Regarding LPG supply, the Chief Minister said that the public should not face any inconvenience, even amid the international situation. Artificial shortages, hoarding, and black marketing should be closely monitored, and strict action should be taken against those responsible. Prompt and sensitive solutions to public problems should be ensured.

In view of the President's proposed visit to Ayodhya and Mathura-Vrindavan, the Chief Minister directed strict adherence to established protocols. The concerned District Magistrates provided information on the preparations. He directed the strengthening of arrangements at destitute cow shelters, including the deployment of nodal officers, timely disbursement of funds, and ensuring the protection of cattle, fodder, and other necessary arrangements.

Police force fully alert- Director General of Police

Before the meeting, the Director General of Police stated that the police force is fully alert and foot patrolling has been increased to ensure the peaceful conduct of Chaitra Navratri, Eid al-Fitr, and the upcoming Shri Ram Navami. All divisional commissioners, district magistrates, additional directors general of police (zones), police commissioners, inspectors general of police (ranges), senior superintendents of police/superintendents of police, and senior government officials were present at the meeting, held via video conferencing.
