The story of Udaipur Files is based on the famous Kanhaiyalal murder case of 2022. Kanhaiyalal Sahu was a trailer and used to run his shop in Govardhan Vilas area of Udaipur. There was a controversy over the film for a long time and there was a demand to ban it.

With this claim, a ban is being demanded on the release of the film. Now finally the film has been released. Vijay Raj has played the character of Kanhaiyalal in the movie. Now on the day of release, Kanhaiya Lal's son Yash Sahu made an emotional appeal to the public. He urged people to watch the film and called it more than just a story.

Son made a special appeal

"It is not just a film, it is a message for the people of our country. What happened to my father on June 28 and how terrorism is taking roots in our country. I request everyone to watch this film and know the truth. It is not made to oppose any religion or hurt the sentiments of any community. Its purpose is to create awareness and expose the dangerous face of terrorism," Yash told ANI.

Yash said that the special screening of the film was attended by a huge crowd and received a lot of support from the people. He said that his mother could not watch the film, but an empty seat was reserved for his father in the theatre with his photo on it so that his presence could be recorded.

He said, "This support has given us the strength to continue our fight for justice." Kanhaiya Lal was murdered on June 28, 2022 in Udaipur, when two attackers barged into his shop and brutally murdered him. He was killed for allegedly commenting on Prophet Mohammad on social media.
