UP IPS Transfer: 27 IPS officers transferred, 13 district captains replaced, several prominent figures given new responsibilities

News Topical, Digital Desk : The Uttar Pradesh government transferred 27 IPS officers late Monday evening. This includes the transfer of police captains in 13 districts. In some cases, the transfers are being attributed to complaints and negligence, while in others, they are being described as routine. This is the first time such a large number of district captains have been replaced in the state. Previously, the Badaun SSP was removed in connection with a double murder.

The list released by the Home Department also informed everyone of their new postings. Several IG-level officers have also been transferred. According to administrative sources, police officers from several other districts may also be transferred.

• Rajesh Dwivedi, Commander PAC Aligarh.
• Prabal Pratap Singh SP Crime Headquarters.
• Vidya Sagar Mishra, Commander PAC Sitapur.
• Rajesh Kumar, Second Commander, PAC Meerut.
• Aditya Langhe was made SP Firozabad.
• Ela Maran was made SSP Etah.
• Dr. Durgesh Kumar Commander SSF Ayodhya.
• Ramanayan Singh Commander PAC Noida .
• Saurabh Dixit has been posted as SP, Shahjahanpur.
• Somendra Meena was made SP Rampur.
• Dr. Diksha Sharma, DCP, Lucknow Commissionerate.
• Nipun Agarwal, Commander PAC Moradabad.
• Vishwajeet Srivastava became SP Bahraich.
• Lakhan Singh Yadav was made SP Amroha.
• Vinay Singh became SP Jalaun.
• Shashank Singh was made SP Mahoba.
• Shakti Mohan Awasthi was made SP Maharajganj.
• Akash Patel was made SP Chandauli.
• Satya Narayan Prajapati was made SP Kaushambi.
• Mrigank Shekhar Pathak became SP Hamirpur.
• Aditya Bansal was made SP City Aligarh.
• Amrit Jain became SP City Muzaffarnagar.

Preference given to young officers

This time, many young officers have received preferential postings. Furthermore, by assigning district responsibilities to those who hadn't been in the field for a long time, the Yogi government has sent a clear message regarding law and order. Furthermore, discussions are currently rife about transfers from several other districts. Officers who have been posted in the same district for a long time may be removed.
