News Topical, Digital Desk : In a major action, the Basic Education Department in the district has dismissed a headmaster from service who had secured a job based on a fake mark sheet. He had been employed for nearly 20 years. The District Basic Education Officer issued instructions, declaring the appointment void from the outset, and also ordered an FIR to be filed against the teacher concerned and the recovery of the salary paid to date.
This case is related to the Primary School Noniyapura (Bachhapar), Education Zone Pandah. The headmaster posted here, Dhruvnath Yadav, is a resident of Gauri Sikanderpur. Dinesh Kumar Yadav, a resident of Gauri, had filed a complaint against him by giving an affidavit to the Assistant Education Director, Basic Azamgarh. Following this, the educational records of the concerned teacher were investigated. During the investigation, it was found that he had shown higher marks by tampering with his graduation mark sheet. While the actual marks were found to be 445, the submitted record showed 504 marks.
In this way, the job was obtained by increasing the marks by 59. Based on the complaint, the mark sheet was verified by the Principal of the concerned college, Shri Bajrang Postgraduate College, Dadar Ashram Sikanderpur, in which the mark sheet was found to be fake. It was also confirmed that the concerned teacher had uploaded incorrect details on the Human Resource Portal. To investigate the teacher, the department sought an explanation from the teacher, but when the answer was not satisfactory, strict action was taken.
In the order issued by BSA Manish Kumar Singh, it has been clarified that the appointment obtained on the basis of forged documents is illegal and is therefore being cancelled. The Finance and Accounts Officer has been instructed to assess the salaries and allowances paid so far and initiate the recovery process. Additionally, the Block Education Officer has been instructed to file an FIR against the concerned teacher at the police station. The department has also indicated that if negligence is found at any level during the verification process, action will be taken against the concerned officials.
