It is often seen that many films get into court cases regarding their release and controversial content. Currently, actor Vijay Raj 's upcoming film Udaipur Files is also embroiled in controversies regarding its release.
Recently, the release of this movie was banned as per the order of Delhi High Court. Now the makers of Udaipur Files have knocked the door of Supreme Court and demanded a re-hearing on the case.

Gaurav Bhatia, the producer of the film Udaipur Files, has filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging the decision of the Delhi High Court. He believes that his film is not made on any issue about which no one is aware.
Our film is based on a true incident, which depicts the murder of an innocent tailor like Kanhaiya Lal. Which is clearly a violation of the fundamental rights to life. In this way, senior advocate Gaurav Bhatia has presented his argument in the Supreme Court on behalf of the makers of Udaipur Files.
On which the court has accepted the demand for re-hearing. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see whether the release of Udaipur Files gets the green signal from the Supreme Court or not. Earlier on July 10, the Delhi High Court had given an order to stop the release of the film 12 hours before, while it was to be released the next day on July 11.
What is the movie based on
Udaipur Files is based on the story of the murder of tailor Kanhaiyalal Sahu in Udaipur, Rajasthan in 2022. In which two people of another community killed him by slitting his throat. Now producer Amit Jani along with the director has made this murder case into a film, which is yearning for release in theaters.
