In this sequence, she posted a video titled Urine Eye Wash - Nature's Own Medicine on Instagram, which went viral in no time. In 24 hours, this video was viewed multiple times by more than 1.5 lakh people.
What did the woman claim in the video?
In the viral video, Nupur Pitti claims that she washes her eyes using fresh morning urine. Not only this, she also shows how to wash her eyes. Although she asks to use it as an alternative remedy, doctors have strongly objected to it and have also warned people.
What do the doctors say?
On this issue, multi-award winning hepatologist Dr Cyriac AB Phillips, also known online as The Liver Doctor, reposted this video on X and asked people not to do this. He said, 'Please do not put your urine in your eyes. Urine is not sterile. Boomer aunties trying to look cool on Instagram are disappointing and scary.'
Apart from this, many Instagram users also criticized the woman. Some people said, "Urine is a waste from your body, which may contain bacteria. In such a situation, you clean your eyes, which is a completely irresponsible attitude. Can you all see this?"
