Big revelation in the service
Actually, recently a survey was conducted by the Anganwadi workers on behalf of the government. They were given two tasks. To collect information about some women above 65 years of age who are taking advantage of the scheme. And if two or more women are taking advantage in the same house, then conduct a survey of that too.
The investigation lasted for a month and a half
Ration card was considered proof for identification of more than two beneficiaries. This was investigated. Anganwadi workers conducted this survey for about one and a half months and after that the data was submitted to the government. It came to light that in eight districts of Marathwada, 40 thousand women above 65 years of age took advantage of the scheme by showing their age as less than 65 years.
80 thousand women living more than two people in the same house are taking benefit

In total, a recommendation has been made to the government to stop the benefits of the scheme for about 1 lakh 25 thousand Ladki Bahans of Marathwada. Data of each one has been submitted.
50% women are ineligible
Now, it will be important to know what decision the government will take on this. According to the data that has come out, the number of applications of two or more women from the same household among those who took benefit in the Ladki Behan Yojana was 4 lakh, while the number of women above 65 years of age was around 1 lakh. In the investigation of women above 65 years of age, 50% women were found ineligible, while the number of women taking more benefits in the same family was 25%.
