News Topical, Digital Desk : A hair-raising case in France has shocked everyone. 69-year-old restaurant owner and chef Philippe Schneider has confessed to brutally murdering 60-year-old Georges Michler. The murderer Philippe has confessed that he cut Georges Michler's body into several pieces and cooked it with vegetables in a pot. He did this to hide his crime.

According to the New York Post, Philippe Schneider, 69, and his wife Nathalie Caboubassi, 45, are set to go on trial for the murder of Georges Meichler in 2023.

The murderer's wife denied involvement in the crime

Philippe made a shocking confession to police following a missing person report filed by victim Meichler's daughter. He reportedly told police that he and Nathalie killed Georges Meichler. However, Caboubassi has since denied any involvement in the murder.

According to the newspaper, the killer warned investigators that "what I'm about to tell you is horrifying" before revealing details of the gruesome murder. He told authorities that the two of them (husband and wife) killed Mechler by mistake.

In fact, Philippe Schneider and his wife had come to Georges Michler's house with the intention of burglary. The couple had tied up and gagged Michler and after searching his house, they returned to find that Michler had died of suffocation.

This scary step was taken to hide the evidence

The murderer Philip Schneider cut Michler's body into pieces to hide his fingerprints and evidence. He burned Michler's hands, head and legs. Both of them scattered the ashes of the body in Michler's van.

Philipp Schneider confessed that he cooked Michler's body parts in a pot with vegetables in his home, a skill he learned from a religious tradition in Nepal.

The grave digger is also involved in the crime

A 25-year-old man is also facing trial for the crime. He is accused of assisting Phillips in disposing of Michler's body. He said Phillips ordered him to cook the meat until it "fell off the bones" and to tell anyone who asked that it was "dog food."
