News Topical, Digital Desk : Several major decisions were made at the Union Cabinet meeting today, Tuesday. Four new railway projects were approved. The third and fourth lanes for the Vadodara-Ratlam section were approved, while the third and fourth lanes for the Bhusaval-Wardha section were also approved.

The fourth lane of Itarsi-Chautha-Bina has also been approved. In a media briefing after the cabinet meeting, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, "In today's cabinet meeting, we have approved four new railway projects. Seven railway corridors carry 41% of the total rail traffic. We have recently initiated several projects to strengthen these corridors and add more. Now, we have decided to build a minimum of four lanes and, where possible, six lanes on these corridors."
