“When I read about what he said, I was very upset. I may be mistaken and it may have been misinterpreted. But if he did complain, it's really shocking.”

When our film (Halchal) was a box office success, he called me and said, "Priyan sir, I'm very happy that I'm receiving praise for my work. I'm saddened and disturbed by Arshad's allegations. It's a shock to me." Priyadarshan's response to Arshad Warsi's statement about Halchal is as follows.

In fact, Arshad Warsi said in his statement, "When I was offered the film Hulchul, I was told that my character would be like Akshay Kumar's in Hera Pheri.
