News Topical, Digital Desk : Political activity is at its peak in Bihar. While the Rashtriya Janata Dal ( RJD) is preparing for organizational reshuffle, the ruling Janata Dal United ( JDU) has launched a series of sharp attacks on the opposition camp.

Following the election results, Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav is currently on a foreign tour. His decision to attend the winter session for just one day and then leave for Europe has been widely discussed in political circles. However, now, there are signs of major changes within the RJD organization after Kharmas.

Tejashwi Yadav will return to Bihar after Makar Sankranti.

It is believed that a new and energetic face may replace state president Mangani Lal Mandal. RJD spokesperson Shakti Yadav clarified that after Makar Sankranti, Tejashwi Yadav will return to Bihar and will tour the entire state extensively, energizing the workers.

Minister Shravan Kumar's sharp retort

Bihar government's Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar strongly criticized these opposition preparations. He said that no matter how many changes the RJD makes, the people of Bihar have faith only in Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Shravan Kumar claimed that the public has already accepted Nitish Kumar as Chief Minister from 2025 to 2030. He advised Tejashwi Yadav that simply changing faces will not achieve anything; he should play a "meaningful role" as the opposition.

Attack on Congress and electoral fairness

Minister Shravan Kumar called the Congress's proposed protests from January 10th "irrational." He said that when Congress wins in Karnataka and Jharkhand, they don't see any vote theft, but after losing in Bihar, they start seeing flaws in voter lists and EVMs. He advised the Congress to review its "thinking and understanding experience."

Concern over the situation in Bangladesh

Setting aside political debate, the minister described the attacks on minorities (Hindus) in Bangladesh as an international concern. He appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take initiative on this issue on global platforms to ensure the safety of Hindus there.
