There was a problem in Indigo flight

Let us tell you that an IndiGo flight from Guwahati to Chennai carrying 168 passengers had to make an emergency landing at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru on Thursday night after the captain of the plane gave a 'MAYDAY' warning due to insufficient fuel. 

The flight was full from Guwahati on Saturday evening

The pilot of IndiGo flight 6E-6764 (A321), which took off from Guwahati at 4.40 pm on Saturday, attempted to land in Chennai at 7.45 pm but decided to do a 'go around' in a procedure called 'balked landing' after the landing gear touched the runway. 

Had to say MAYDAY after going 35 miles

A source said, "The captain made a 'MAYDAY' call when he was about 35 miles from Bengaluru airport." A passenger, who did not wish to be named, said, "The sudden and steep descent put many passengers on the edge of their seats, with some on board getting quite scared."
