News Topical, Digital Desk : A car exploded near the Red Fort Metro Station in the national capital, Delhi, on Monday evening (November 10, 2025). Following the incident, political leaders have been continuously reacting. VIP chief Mukesh Sahni expressed grief over the incident and wished for a speedy recovery for the injured.
Mukesh Sahni wrote in his ex-post, "The news of the tragic death of 8 people in the blast near the Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi has shaken me to the core. My deepest condolences to all those injured and affected in this horrific incident. May God give them strength and speedy recovery of the injured."
MP Shambhavi Chaudhary also expressed grief
Regarding the incident, LJP Ram Vilas MP Shambhavi Chaudhary said, "Deeply saddened to hear the news of the blast near the Red Fort in Delhi. Eight innocent people have lost their lives and many have been injured in this accident. In this sad hour, we express our deepest condolences to the bereaved families and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured."
The car stopped at a red light around 6:52 p.m.
Regarding this incident, Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha said, "Today at around 6.52 pm, a slow-moving vehicle stopped at a red light. There was an explosion in that vehicle and the explosion also damaged the nearby vehicles. All agencies, FSL, NIA are present here... Some people have died and some have been injured in the incident. The situation is being monitored. The Home Minister also called and information is being shared with him from time to time."
