News Topical, Digital Desk : Donald Trump's close advisor Peter Navarro has been spewing venom against India for the past few days. But now Elon Musk's social media platform X has separated the truth from the truth through fact checking. The double standards of America, which imposed tariffs on India citing Russian oil, have been exposed.

After fact checking by X, the truth has come out in front of the world, which has infuriated Peter Navarro. He has started criticizing Elon Musk for fact checking.

Peter's attempt to spread lies

Sharing a post against India on Friday, Peter Navarro wrote, “The fact is that imposing tariffs on India is threatening American jobs. By buying oil from Russia, India is nourishing the Russian war machine. Due to this, Ukrainian and Russian people are dying. American people are having to buy expensive goods. India cannot bear this truth.”

X exposed the truth

X did a fact check on this post of Peter Navarro and posted a community note accusing Peter of misinformation. X said in his fact check-

India is buying oil from Russia for energy security rather than profit and this is not a violation of US sanctions. America has imposed tariffs on India, but America itself is still importing things from Russia. America's trade with Russia in terms of services is running in profit. All this is hypocrisy.

X even said in his fact checking that America is pressurizing India not to buy oil from Russia. But America itself is buying things like uranium worth billions of dollars from Russia. This is America's double standard.

Navarro furious at Elon Musk

When Peter Navarro's lie was exposed after fact checking of X, he started criticizing X's owner Elon Musk. Peter Navarro targeted Musk and wrote, "Wow, Elon Musk is spreading propaganda. This crap note is an example of this."
