Police have yet to uncover any clear clues regarding the exact location of the murder or the reason the body was brought there.

The Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissionerate has formed 10 special teams to investigate this serious case. These teams are continuously collecting evidence and accelerating the investigation. According to officials, more than 500 CCTV footages have been scanned so far. The scope of the investigation has been expanded to three days prior to the incident to trace the movements of any suspects.

Identifying the woman is a big challenge for the police.

According to reports, identifying the woman remains the biggest challenge. Police are facing significant difficulties identifying the body due to the absence of a head. Missing person reports are being sought from surrounding districts, and coordination is being established with police in neighboring districts to ensure any missing woman reports can be matched to this incident.

Search operation launched to find woman's head

Police launched a massive search operation within a three-kilometer radius of the crime scene to locate the woman's head. Searches continued in drains, nearby bushes, vacant plots, river banks, and roads, but no results were found. A forensic team also arrived at the scene and collected samples. The police are treating the case as a homicide.

According to media reports, the investigation also raises the suspicion that the crime occurred elsewhere. The body was dumped here after the incident to destroy evidence. Police are also investigating whether the murder could be related to a personal dispute, domestic violence, or an illicit relationship.

Police sought help from local people in the investigation

Given the seriousness of the matter, the police have appealed to local residents to immediately report any suspicious individuals or vehicles seen in the area. Considering the sensitivity of the case, the police have intensified the investigation and are continuing to investigate all possible leads.
