Husband was a hindrance in love affair, clues found from liquor bottle and CCTV

Mahesh explained that he runs a clothing store at the weekly market. His and Lokendra's houses are adjacent. He used to visit Lokendra's house frequently. A year and a half ago, he and Somvati fell in love. Six months ago, Lokendra learned of their relationship. He began restricting Somvati's behavior and forbade her from coming to his house.

Due to daily quarrels, Somvati conspired with him to murder her husband. Lokendra left home for work at 11 a.m. on Wednesday morning. He had gone to meet Somvati. There, on Wednesday night, they decided to eliminate Lokendra.

Called for a party under a conspiracy

As part of the conspiracy, he and his friend Dharamveer reached Saiya intersection on a bike. He also called Lokendra and invited him there on the pretext of a party. All three brought bottles of liquor from the liquor shop in Saiya. They drank alcohol while sitting in a field behind Bajrang Dham Colony on Gwalior Highway. During this, when he tried to strangle Lokendra, he fought back.

He strangled her with his hands and set her on fire.

With the help of Dharamveer, they overpowered him and strangled him with their hands. They poured petrol, leftover liquor, and garbage from their bike over the body and set it on fire. Police arrested the accused murderers, Mahesh, Dharamveer, and Lokendra's wife, Somvati. Trainee IPS Abhay Daga said that a case has been registered against the three accused under sections of murder, destruction of evidence, and criminal conspiracy.

Father murdered and mother jailed, uncle takes responsibility of children
