When Trump was asked about the withdrawal of personnel, he said that American personnel are being evacuated from some countries (in the Middle East) because it can prove to be a dangerous place in the future. He said that we are keeping an eye on it and we have issued a notice.
Will not allow Iran to have nuclear weapons: Trump
When the US President was asked if anything could be done to reduce tensions in the Middle East, Trump said that they cannot have nuclear weapons and we will not allow it. Here he was referring to Iran.
Preparations to vacate the embassy
President Trump confirmed the withdrawal of diplomats and personnel after Reuters reported that the US was preparing to partially evacuate its embassy in Iran and also allow other military personnel to leave locations in the Middle East due to security risks.
The order comes at a time when US intelligence agencies have indicated that Israel, which is currently fighting a war with Gaza, is preparing to attack nuclear facilities in Iran.
Iran close to building a nuclear weapon?
US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has confirmed that Iran is working towards developing nuclear weapons amid the stalled nuclear deal.
