Snowfall warning for Solan and Sirmaur districts on March 19
According to the Meteorological Department, winds of 40-50 kilometers per hour are expected in Kullu and Shimla, along with light rain and thundershowers, and lightning is also possible, which has led to an orange alert. A snowfall warning has also been issued for Solan and Sirmaur districts for Thursday, March 19.
Additionally, the Meteorological Department has issued a "yellow alert" for ten of the twelve districts, except Kinnaur, Lahaul, and Spiti, expecting thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds. A new western disturbance is also expected to become active over northwestern India on the night of March 17th.
