A man named Nakchhed brutally beat his wife, Kusum, to death simply because she refused to answer his phone. This sparked an uproar. Police arrived at the scene, arrested the accused, and sent the woman's body for a post-mortem examination.
It is alleged that Nakchhed arrived and began brutally beating his wife. The children were also at home at the time. Hearing the screams, people nearby rushed to the hospital and took the bleeding Kusum to the hospital. However, she could not be saved.
What is the whole matter?
According to reports, the deceased Kusum's husband, Nakchhed, returned home enraged on Tuesday morning. It was reported that he had called his wife at 12 a.m. on Monday night, but she failed to answer. Enraged by this, he began assaulting her as soon as he arrived home. Their two children, Udaybhan and Diksha, tried to save their mother, but the enraged Nakchhed pushed them away.
The children told the police that their father brutally beat their mother. Diksha said, "At night, while their father was beating their mother, I took her to my elder mother's house. When we returned in the morning, their father hit their mother again with a stick. She collapsed on the spot. Neighbors rushed her to the hospital, but she died."
Police initiated action
Upon receiving information about the incident, CO Ashutosh Kumar and police station in-charge Anju Mishra arrived at the scene with a force. CO Ashutosh stated that the accused has been arrested. In a fit of rage, he beat his wife, resulting in her death. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination. Further investigation is underway.
