On March 28, earthquake wreaked havoc in Myanmar

On March 28, Myanmar was hit by a massive earthquake measuring 7.7 and its epicenter was Mandala region. This earthquake caused massive destruction in Myanmar and was one of the most devastating earthquakes in the history of Myanmar. According to the Myanmar Army, about 3600 people died in this earthquake and more than 5000 people were injured. Apart from this, hundreds of people were separated from their families.

According to a report by 'The Mirror', a total of 6730 communication stations were damaged due to the earthquake, out of which about 6000 have been repaired. Organizations like the United Nations and the European Union sent relief and rescue teams, medical teams and necessary resources.
