Strong earthquakes were felt once again in Myanmar on Sunday, April 13. The magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 5.1 on the Richter scale. Recently, a strong earthquake struck Myanmar, in which more than three thousand people died. According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of magnitude 5.1 occurred in Myanmar on April 13 at 7:54 am. The epicenter of this earthquake was only 10 kilometers inside the ground. At present, there is no news of any loss of life or property due to this earthquake.

 

On March 28, earthquake wreaked havoc in Myanmar

On March 28, Myanmar was hit by a massive earthquake measuring 7.7 and its epicenter was Mandala region. This earthquake caused massive destruction in Myanmar and was one of the most devastating earthquakes in the history of Myanmar. According to the Myanmar Army, about 3600 people died in this earthquake and more than 5000 people were injured. Apart from this, hundreds of people were separated from their families.

 

Many countries of the world extended a helping hand to Myanmar

The devastating earthquake in Myanmar also caused severe damage to the mobile communication system. According to a report by 'The Mirror', a total of 6730 communication stations were damaged due to the earthquake, out of which about 6000 have been repaired. After the earthquake in Myanmar, countries like India, China and America sent their teams to Myanmar for rescue. Organizations like the United Nations and the European Union sent relief and rescue teams, medical teams and necessary resources.
