News Topical, Digital Desk : The war situation in the Middle East is becoming increasingly serious. US President Donald Trump is repeatedly threatening Iran to lay down its arms and open the Strait of Hormuz. However, Iran is neither ready for a ceasefire nor to open the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump threatened that Iran had 48 hours to reach a compromise and open the Strait of Hormuz, or face a massive attack that would turn Iran into hell. Iran described this threat as helpless, panicked, absurd, and foolish.
The gates of hell will open for America.
Iran called Trump's call to destroy Tehran's vital infrastructure if a peace deal isn't reached within 48 hours foolish. Iranian General Ali Abdullahi Aliabadi, echoing Trump's language, warned that if Iran were attacked, the "gates of hell" would open for US military assets in the region.
Threats to attack US military bases
According to the Fars news agency, Iranian General Ali Abdullahi warned that any attack by the US or Israel on Iran's infrastructure would be met with devastating attacks on all US military bases and Israeli infrastructure located in West Asia.
"After repeatedly admitting defeat, the aggressive and bellicose president of the United States has threatened to target Iran's infrastructure and national assets in a desperate, panicked, unbalanced and foolish move," Abdollahi said.
I won't hesitate even for a moment
Abdullahi said that if the US and Israel attack Iran, the Iranian armed forces will not hesitate for a moment to defend the country's rights and protect national assets and will show the invaders their place.
The war could become more severe
It's worth noting that prior to his 48-hour threat, US President Trump had given Iran a 10-day deadline on March 26th. Just before that deadline expired on April 6th, Trump issued another ultimatum to Iran. If Iran doesn't reach a deal by the deadline and the US attacks Iran, Iran will retaliate. This could escalate the war across West Asia, including the Strait of Hormuz.
