The STF arrested him from Ambedkar Colony, Ward No. 4, in the Barabanki police station area of ​​Sambhal district. According to information received in this regard, a reward of 50,000 rupees was announced against the arrested accused in a case registered at the Bikapur police station in Ayodhya in 2023. It was reported that the accused, Arun, son of Ganga Sharan, is a resident of Jagriti Bihar, Medical Police Station, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He currently resides in Ambedkar Colony, Ward No. 4, in the Babrala police station area of ​​Sambhal district.

The accused was wanted in an NDPS Act case.

It should be noted that the accused was hiding after being wanted in an NDPS Act case at the Bikapur police station in Ayodhya district and a reward was announced. Under the leadership of CO STF Shailesh Pratap Singh, the STF arrested Arun, a wanted NDPS Act accused with a reward of 50,000 rupees. The arrested accused, along with his associates Danish, Awadh Ram Dhruv, and Vinay Kumar, was involved in drug trafficking.

He used to sell marijuana in Meerut and surrounding districts.

It was reported that the accused imported marijuana from Odisha and sold it at high prices in Meerut and surrounding districts. In 2023, he imported a large consignment of the illegal drug marijuana from Odisha, but his associates, Danish and Awadh Ram Dhruv, were caught with the illegal drug in Bikapur, Ayodhya.

After the case was registered, the accused Arun was declared wanted. The arrested accused Arun has been charged under the NDPS Act at the Bikapur police station. Further legal action in the matter is being taken by the Bikapur police station.
