
News Topical, Digital Desk : NMDC: In its August update, the company said that total iron production grew 9.8% year-on-year to 3.37 tonnes. It was 3.0.7 tonnes in August last year. Total sales grew 8% year-on-year to 3.39 tonnes from 3.14 tonnes.
Coal India: Total production in August 2025 increased by 9.4% year-on-year to 50.4 tonnes. It was 46.1 tonnes in August 2024. During this period, total offtake increased by 7.6% from 52.7 tonnes to 56.7 tonnes.
UPL: Subsidiary UPL Global has acquired 49% stake in Thailand's company Grow Chemical. This acquisition has been done for 7.6 lakh dollars. With this acquisition, the company has made a strategy to strengthen its hold in Thailand.
BEL: The company has received an order of Rs 644 crore. This is the first order for the company after 30 July 2025. This order of Rs 644 crore has been received for data centers, simulators and EVMs etc.

Purvankara: The company has received an order for redevelopment of a project located in Malabar Hill, Mumbai. This 1.43 acre project has the potential to develop 7 lakh square feet area. The company expects to earn revenue of Rs 2,700 crore from this project.
