Several key triggers will influence the market over the next five days. The most important is the CPI data, which will be released on December 12th. In October, the CPI was at a record low of 0.25%. The market will also closely monitor loan growth, deposit growth, and forex reserves. Share Market News: India-Russia Deal During Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to India, 16 agreements were signed between India and Russia, covering defense, trade, health, education, media, and the economic sector. Russia assured India of continued and uninterrupted fuel supplies. Putin told Prime Minister Modi that Russia is ready to continue supplying fuel to India's rapidly growing economy. Share Market Update: US Federal Meeting The next major event is the US Federal Reserve meeting, which will be held on December 9th and 10th. After the 0.25% rate cut in October, the market is now agitated by the possibility of another rate cut. According to the FedWatch tool, there is an 86.2% chance of another 25 basis point rate cut in December. Meanwhile, a Trump administration delegation will visit India next week. Negotiations for a trade agreement (US-India Trade Talks) between the two countries will progress. The tariffs imposed on Russian oil purchases will also be included in the initial phase of negotiations. FII Data : FIIs sold more than $1 billion in the first four days of December. November also saw withdrawals of $1.3 billion. The selling trend by foreign investors could put pressure on the market.
