Due to the pressure on big stocks, the market value of companies has also been affected. Last week, on the basis of valuation, investors' investment value of 8 out of the top 10 companies of the country saw a decline. In a week, the total market cap of these 8 companies came down by Rs 1,65,501 crore. Out of this, HDFC Bank suffered the biggest loss. However, on the other hand, the market value of IT sector companies Tata Consultancy Services and Infosys increased.

During the week, the Sensex closed at 81119 with a decline of 1.3 percent. The Nifty 50 index fell by 1.13 percent and the index closed at 24719. During this period, the Nifty Realty Index fell by 3 percent. The public sector banks index fell by 2.3 percent and the FMCG sector index fell by 2 percent.

The market cap of the bank declined by Rs 47,075.97 crore and it reached Rs 14,68,777.88 crore. ICICI Bank's market value declined by Rs 30,677.44 crore during this period and the market cap came down to Rs 10,10,375.63 crore. Reliance Industries, the country's largest company in terms of market value, has suffered a loss of Rs 21,516.63 crore and the market cap has come down to Rs 19,31,963.46 crore. Even after this decline, the company remains the country's largest company on the basis of market value. Apart from this, the market cap of State Bank of India, Hindustan Unilever and Bharti Airtel has slipped between Rs 15 thousand crore and Rs 18500 crore. LI's market cap has come down by about Rs 14 thousand crore. Bajaj Finance's market cap has decreased by about Rs 2500 crore. On the other hand, the market cap of Tata Consultancy Services has increased by Rs 22,215.06 crore to Rs 12,47,190.95 crore during this period. Infosys' market cap rose by Rs 15,578.3 crore to Rs 6,65,318.03 crore.
